Am I the only one with a teetering stack of books on my bedside table?  Some
have been started then set aside temporarily because I found a new treasure,
some I am reading to my daughters or my son...
Here's what is in the pile right now:

of America ~ by Jeff Pollard

Why am I reading this again?  It makes me cry...

Worldliness ~ C.J. Mahaney hits the proverbial nail on the head.
Another must-read.

My name is Julie.  I am a child of God first of all; I am also the wife of my wonderful husband, Robert, and
homeschooling mom to five children ~ Melissa (and her husband Michael), Emily, Samantha, Alexandra and
Bradley.
I am also a proud grandmother to beautiful Lydian, Mike and Melissa's first blessing!

We live in beautiful NW Washington.

Over the years the Lord in His mercy has taught us many things.  One of those things very close to my heart
is modesty.  Having four daughters, it is a very important subject that we discuss often!  We believe that as
daughters of the King we are to proclaim His holiness and purity, and one way of doing that is to dress in a
modest way.
We do not want to follow the way of a lost and dying world that believes showing our bodies is a neutral, or
even a positive, thing.  The Lord tells us that modest apparel is His desire.
(1 Timothy 2:9)
